Dr. Jose Rivadeneira, affectionately known by his patients as “Dr. J” for his warm, approachable personality and easy-to-remember name, is a native of Ecuador who relocated to New Jersey at the age of 17 and has been a proud resident of Florida since 2008. He initially pursued studies in Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts, graduating in 2008, and went on to serve as a manager in the hospitality industry. After several years, he chose to follow his true passion—dentistry.
Inspired by his desire to help others, and influenced by the care of his disabled sister, Dr. Rivadeneira pursued higher education at the University of South Florida, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science.
He then completed his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at LECOM in Bradenton in 2017. Dedicated to staying at the forefront of his profession, Dr. Rivadeneira obtained a Fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2022 and a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry in 2024.
Beyond dentistry, Dr. J deeply values family and shares a close bond with his loved ones. He is the proud father of a 21-year-old son. On weekends, he enjoys watching soccer, football, and UFC with family and friends—or playing soccer himself. A devoted animal lover, he has also rescued three dogs: Lucas, Pancho, and Tuukka.
