Dr. Jose Rivadeneira, affectionately known by his patients as “Dr. J,” is a compassionate family dentist in Largo, FL, known for his warm personality and commitment to exceptional patient care. Originally from Ecuador, Dr. J relocated to New Jersey at 17 and has proudly called Florida home since 2008.

Before pursuing dentistry, he earned degrees in Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts, where he developed a strong sense of service and attention to detail, qualities that continue to define his approach as a dentist in Largo, FL. Inspired by his desire to help others and influenced by caring for his disabled sister, Dr. Rivadeneira went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science from the University of South Florida, followed by his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from LECOM in Bradenton in 2017.

Dedicated to offering advanced care, Dr. J holds Fellowships with both the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the Academy of General Dentistry, reflecting his expertise in restorative and dental implant treatments in Largo. His focus spans preventive, cosmetic, and pediatric care, helping families maintain lifelong oral health.

Outside the office, Dr. J values time with his family and is the proud father of a 21-year-old son. When he’s not providing care as a trusted dentist near Pinellas Park, you can find him watching soccer, football, and UFC—or playing soccer himself. A devoted animal lover, he has also rescued three dogs: Lucas, Pancho, and Tuukka.
